Florida Man Just Needed A Nap, So He Jumped A Barbed Wire Fence To Break Into An Airbus A320 And Sleep In The Bathroom - Jalopnik

Look, we've all been there. You're out late, you're wiped out, and you've just got to crash somewhere. Could be a friend's place, could be in your car. But obviously, only the truly desperate would pass out on a park bench. No, much better would be to scale an eight-foot barbed wire fence at an airport, break into an Airbus A320, and take a nice little nap in the bathroom. That's the way that true heroes do it. And America's truest hero is none other than Florida Man, this time going under the alias Samuel Lackey. So when Lackey needed somewhere to rest his weary head on the night of August 1, you bet he jumped the perimeter at Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport and made his way over to an empty JetBlue, mobile staircase still attached.

Hollywood Flashback: When Dudley Moore Intoxicated Audiences in ‘Arthur’

A toast is in order for Arthur, which became a comedy classic despite a quiet release 45 years ago.

After penning Carl Reiner’s 1978 comedy The One and Only starring Henry Winkler, Steve Gordon was hired to direct his own Arthur script for Orion. Gordon initially considered George Segal and John Belushi for the title role before casting Dudley Moore off the success of 10, in which the actor starred opposite Bo Derek.

‘The State of Us’ Review: A Pair of Spirited Performances Lift a Familiar Yorkshire Tearjerker

The weather being what it is in Yorkshire, a sunroof is not a top priority for most car buyers in that English county — but the tired hatchback driven by young slacker Frankie (Samuel Bottomley) has one. That’s the first of a few improbabilities in “The State of Us,” an occasionally hokey but winningly sweet-natured buddy comedy from British newcomer Ollie Gardner and Jake Harvey, and it’s a forgivable one: How else, at a key emotional juncture, will his ailing best friend Taylor (Callum Scott Howells) stand up in the car to freely embrace the cold night with arms outstretched? It’s a shameless cliché of an image, recycled from the likes of “The Perks of Being a Wallflower” and TV’s “Euphoria,” but the film gets away with the steal, in large part because Frankie and Taylor are, at least for a moment, chasing the life they’ve seen in slicker American youth movies.

‘Paradise’ Executive Producer Explains Why Julianne Nicholson’s Character Had to Go Down with the Bunker in Season 2

As a thriller, Paradise is very careful about the amount of suspense it leaves its audience in.

“We have a marching order for ourselves, which is not to frustrate,” says executive producer John Hoberg.

I got so freaked out by the fact that Gordon Freeman is canonically 27 that I decided to find out how old all the other classic FPS protagonists are, and it didn't make me feel better

When I first played Half-Life at the tender age of 11, I found it a terrifying experience. Admittedly, I was scared of pretty much everything at 11. Wasps, heights, loud noises, football (or more specifically, everyone finding out how bad I was at football). I was an anxious child all around. Hence, playing an interactive disaster movie filled with weird aliens was an intense experience and lashings of violence was an intense experience.

This is Terminally Online: PC Gamer's very own MMO column. Every other week, I'll be sharing my thoughts on the genre, interviewing fellow MMO-heads like me, taking a deep-dive into mechanics we've all taken for granted, and, occasionally, bringing in guest writers to talk about their MMO of choice. Like our own Joshua Wolens, who checked out Everquest Legends and liked it a whole lot.
