2024’s Persona 3 Reload was a modern revamp of the game that wound up defining the core pillars of what the Persona would become. P3 Reload proved that Atlus could modernize its older Persona titles while maintaining its feel and identity, and now it’s Persona 4’s turn with Persona 4 Revival. Based on the PlayStation Vita’s enhanced “Golden” version of the game, Revival will once again see your small group of Persona users figure out the cause of a mysterious set of disappearances and murders taking place in the small town of Inaba, Japan. The demo I checked out dropped me into a few different points set during the early hours of the story, letting me get a sampling of the story, along with a taste of the new anime cutscenes from MAPPA (the same studio that did Persona 5 Royal’s opening), take on some Shadows, and even do a little exploring around Inaba. It’s been a while since I last visited the foggy town, and I was excited to check in and see how this new take on the RPG had changed things up.

Sky Orders “Second Chapter” of Rafe Spall-Starring Crime Drama ‘Under Salt Marsh’

Comcast’s Sky unveiled on Wednesday that it has commissioned “the as-yet-untitled second chapter” of original crime drama Under Salt Marsh from creator, writer and director Claire Oakley. Produced by Little Door Productions in association with Sky Studios, the six-part second series sees Rafe Spall reprise his role as the enigmatic Detective Eric Bull.

Total War: Warhammer 40k Makes Customization a Big Part of the Package | IGN Preview

Ever since Creative Assembly released the first Total War: Warhammer back in 2016, the part of the community more interested in its futuristic sibling has been clamoring for a version set in the 41st Millennium of the long-running tabletop miniatures series. It may have taken longer than folks would have liked, but Total War: Warhammer 40K is on the horizon, and during a recent event, I had a chance to go hands-on with an early build of the strategy sequel, purging some savage Orks and spreading the word of the God Emperor. The build I got to try consisted of three focused slices – a tutorial, a tease of how the campaign will play out (including some customization goodness), and finally a massive battle – all of which were seen through the helmets of the Space Marines. All things told, it was about an hour of explosions, bullets, and little dudes shouting “For the Emperor!”

In a year where Ubisoft announced and shipped the Assassin’s Creed: Black Flag remake, a revival of Heroes of Might and Magic 3 might not be the highest-profile remake project, but it’s an appreciated one nevertheless. While the announcement did not mince words about the scope and scale of the project — the 1999 title is being brought back to life for both PC and consoles — IGN got to go hands on with the game in a remote session to see how this version compares to the nearly three-decades-old original.

Netflix’s Latest Marketing Mash-Up Pairs Stella Artois With ‘The Gentlemen’

Netflix will unveil the latest in a long line of spectacles, but you can’t see this one on its flagship streaming service.

The company plans to take over the historic Marlborough Pub in London between Sept. 3-5, when it will outfit the place much like its comedic action series “The Gentlemen,” which is about to launch its second season. At the pub, visitors will be able to look for hidden messages from the show, which is created by Guy Ritchie, order a Stella Artois, and take home limited-edition merchandise including their an engraved chalice.
