Any time there's potentially positive news about storage and memory supply—such as increasing supply from China—I can't help but think 'sure, but the AI industry will guzzle through it regardless.' Not only is demand seemingly insatiable, but sometimes new developments that encourage even more memory use come along. Case in point here with Nvidia Rubin.

Duh, duh, duh. Duh, duh, de-duh. Duh, duh, duh. Duh, duh. That's how the riff to Deep Purple's tune about a fire burning down a Swiss casino goes. As with any riff, it's just a sequence of inputs you make on your instrument of choice. Usually, this would be a guitar. I've been trying to use the cat piano and singing gnome of jobbing composer sim Offbeat, which is out in early access today, July 22nd. Sadly, I don't think I've cracked it, but I have been having plenty of fun making funky jingles and wedding tunes.

It's dangerous to get too excited about a new RTS. Just look at what happened to Stormgate. So I've been cautious with ZeroSpace. It's an RTS built in the classic mould—think StarCraft 2—featuring proper basebuilding and potent hero units. So far, pretty familiar. But there's more.

There are only a few weeks left to check out some great offerings in the PlayStation Plus library. As July comes to a close, Sony Interactive Entertainment has confirmed via the PlayStation Store which games will be leaving the Extra and Premium tiers of the service next month. There are nine games on the list, and a good number of them are absolutely worth playing before time is up.

Yesterday I learnt about Jimothy, an adorably round raccoon (possibly with a spine condition) scuttling around Seattle that's gone viral thanks to his unique appearance. It was only a matter of time then before all the brand accounts joined in on the raccoon's newfound celebrity status. He's already crossing over with a bunch of your favourite games.

A hacker has reportedly wiped out parts of the land registry database of Romania, bringing its real-estate market to a shuddering halt

A hacker going by the name of ByteToBreach has broken in to Romania's cadastre, or land registry, and reportedly wiped information from its databases. Sources speaking to Risky Business have told the outlet that the hacker entered the system using valid credentials, exfiltrated the data within, and later wiped info from its servers after a failed extortion attempt.

Darkest Dungeon—the original—is getting surprise DLC in August

More than 10 years after it launched, and six years after its last DLC, Darkest Dungeon—the original—is getting more. The Fire's Edge, revealed today by Red Hook Studios, brings two new and possibly familiar hero classes to the game, along with new Trinket mechanics and three new districts in the hamlet.
