Magic: The Gathering's Marvel Super Heroes Collector's Edition preconstructed Commander deck bundles are back in stock at Amazon, but I have to say, they're somehow even more expensive than before.

Butcher's Ball wasn't done justice by HBO

House of the Dragon just butchered one of the HBO show' most iconic deaths

George R.R. Martin's Song of Ice and Fire series is full of memorable deaths, and House of the Dragon is no exception. Readers of the Fire & Blood prequel series, which sets up the main events in Game of Thrones, were particularly looking forward to watching the show depict a certain Kingmaker's end. What they got in season 3 episode 6, however, was a series of nonsensical choices that betray the source material. And the worst part is that the disappointment was avoidable.

Hello all! Welcome to another week of sordid digital diversions, aka new PC games, dumped upon the innocent wanderer like a chamberpot upended over your head by a Victorian maid, as you saunter down an alleyway in your finest crinoline and lobster tail bustle. How are you supposed to attend the Crown Prince's soirée in this bedraggled state? In vain do you shake your reeking fists at the chambermaid, for she is a minion of the Maw, and only squawks with glee. You totter out of the alleyway, mopping your face with your nosegay, and are promptly arrested for being a public obscenity.

There are plenty of reasons to be excited for Chinese animation studio Flint Sugar's upcoming donghua False Memory, which streams for free on YouTube next month. From the pedigree behind it (Shuyu Li and Wenyu Liu are the dynamic duo of China’s indie 2D animation movement and the co-founders of Flint Sugar studio) to the promise of an introspective coming-of-age story wrapped in surreal science fiction, False Memory already feels like one of the most intriguing anime on the near horizon. But while this story of a young boy who stumbles upon a surreal universe using a time-altering device looks to be every bit promising in its delivery, as a long-time anime fan, I can’t help noticing similarities it shares with another series that's well over two decades old.
