While most of the automotive world isn't terribly interested in sedans anymore, they've still got their place when it comes to big, luxury limousines. There's just something about getting into the back of a luxobarge that can't be replicated in an SUV or crossover, no matter how big or expensive they are. That's exactly where the 2027 Mercedes-Maybach S-Class comes to play.

Maybach is in a unique position in the ultra-luxury space. Whereas its primary competitors, Bentley and Rolls-Royce, are full-on standalone marques that—whether intentionally or otherwise—hide their German-parent-company roots, Maybach remains an inexorable part of the greater Mercedes lineup, adding a layer of luxury on top of Merc's already-fancy foundations. The S-class just received a mid-cycle refresh, and now, those changes (and a couple of others) have made their way to the gilded pinnacle of the lineup.

This Wild Hot Hatch Has Angry Red Crocodiles Swimming on the Hood Thanks to a Collab with Lacoste

‘The Odyssey’ First Reactions: “Staggering … Nolan’s Biggest Film to Date”

The first reactions to Christopher Nolan‘s The Odyssey are in.

Here is a sample of the comments about Nolan’s epic, which tells the story of the Greek hero Odysseus’ (Matt Damon) long, torturous and fantastical trip home from the Trojan War, back to the Kingdom of Ithaca to save his wife Penelope (Anne Hathaway) and son Telemachus (Tom Holland). The Odyssey is the first film to be entirely shot in the Imax format, and critics are being shown the film in Imax theaters, where available.
