US national debt passes $40tn after doubling in a decade

US national debt has more than doubled in a decade to reach a milestone $40tn (£29.4tn), Treasury figures show.

Christian-Metal Band Demon Hunter Sues Netflix Over ‘KPop Demon Hunters’

Courts

Lawsuit alleges parents have requested refunds for Demon Hunter tickets purchased for their five-year-olds

Demon Hunter, a band that formed in 2000, has filed a lawsuit against Netflix and other entities associated with the production of KPop Demon Hunters. It seems they’re worried their fans (or perhaps K-pop fans) might confuse the Oscar- and Golden Globe-winning animated phenomenon with their brand of Chistian metal. They want a judge to tell Netflix to stop using the phrase KPop Demon Hunters in music releases, on DVDs, bumper stickers, wall calendars, “underclothes,” and live events, among other items.

2027 Nissan Murano Drops the Base SV Trim, but the SL Trim Gets a Price Cut

  • Nissan is reworking the Murano lineup for 2027, dropping the base SV trim and adding a new Dark Armor variant (shown here).
  • With the SV gone, the price required to get a Murano has climbed by $2320 to $45,535.
  • The Murano SL is now $2770 less than last year, but it loses its panoramic sunroof, 10-speaker Bose stereo system, and in-dash navigation for 2027.

Before Nissan overhauled the Murano for the 2025 model year, the mid-size two-row SUV had mostly been forgotten, with sales dwindling to just 19,316 units in 2024. But the redesign, which brought a bold, luxurious look, saw sales skyrocket to 42,747 units in 2025. Now, for the 2027 model year, Nissan is reworking the Murano lineup, dropping the base SV trim and slashing the price of the SL trim.

Your LED Light Bar Is Ugly, Get Vintage Halogen Fog Lamps Instead - Jalopnik

LED light bars look terrible. That's not to say they don't have their place, because they definitely do. I've worked on Baja 1000 crews, and I've seen first hand how a good light bar can illuminate the night desert like it's noon time. If you're entered in off-road competition and it takes place at night, you'd be silly to use anything else. For the rest of us, who mostly drive our off-road vehicles on paved roads to get groceries, and do most of our dirt driving in the middle of the day, light bars are overkill.
