Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced Update 1.0.6 Launches Tomorrow — Here Are the Patch Notes

Ubisoft has announced an update for Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced will land tomorrow, August 4.

Update 1.0.6 will become available to download on PC and consoles from 7am Pacific / 10am Eastern / 3pm UK time, and weigh in at 15.2GB on Xbox Series X/S, 5.03GB on PlayStation 5, or 1.8GB on Steam.

While Ubisoft seems keen to support its hugely popular Black Flag remake for the time being (and yes, that does include the addition of a New Game Plus mode), it is still early days. So, don't expect big things from this particular update.

Indeed, the largest change that players will probably notice is the ability to now hide Edward Kenway's blowpipe, which rather sticks out on his back at the moment. With Update 1.0.6 installed, you'll be able to hit R2 to "Hide Gear" when selecting your outfit in the inventory screen. This will let you toggle the blowpipe on or off to match your fit.

Other than that, the rest of this patch's changes are listed as bug fixes, though there's some interesting issues listed. Did you know there was supposed to be a tutorial for throwing money? Its absence was a glitch that has now been sorted.

Also, did you spot that the Kraken ship wheel was listed as far too pricey for you to initially buy? "Fixed an issue where the Kraken wheel cost was listed incorrectly," Ubisoft's patch notes confirm, noting that "the Kraken wheel is wheely expensive."

Tomorrow's full patch notes lie below for your perusal:

PATCH 1.0.6 HIGHLIGHTS:

The Blowpipe Can Now Be Hidden: We saw your feedback, and we have given players the option to hide the “Blow Pipe” from Edward’s back. In order to do so, access your outfit in the inventory and select R2 for the option to “Hide Gear”. Or “Show Gear” if you’d prefer the “Blow Pipe” be visible on certain outfits.
