Larian Studios just ended the longest gap between Baldur’s Gate 3 console mod drops in recent memory. But the wait was worth it: Now, players have a new recruitable goblin villain — welcome to the party, Sazza! — and…a frog with a greatsword?

With this latest batch of approved mods, Xbox and PlayStation players can guarantee Minthara’s only knocked unconscious instead of killed in Act 1’s goblin camp encounter, give Shadowheart a full set of hand-drawn tattoos, and finally pose Dame Aylin for a proper photo shoot. Wondering which of the 19 is worth a download and a replay right now? Here’s where to start.

Sazza Evolved: Sazza, a goblin scout you can choose to rescue on three separate occasions across the game’s story, only to watch her leave every single time, is now a recruitable character. With this mod installed, you can finally invite a goblin ally to your party.

To grab any of these mods, boot up Baldur’s Gate 3 on Xbox or PlayStation and check the in-game Mod Manager from the main menu. Console mods don’t route through Nexus Mods or any outside site the way PC ones do, so everything you need is already built into the game itself. Make sure you’re on the latest patch, first: New approvals sometimes take a day or two to actually show up in the manager after Larian signs off on them.

The full pack of 19 recently approved mods also includes several new subclasses, very fun aesthetic upgrades (Shadowheart tattoos, along with 34 new eye colors and new head options!) — and we’re already excited about the opportunity to enrage Lae’zel by making her a frog before she gets a chance to swing her sword. Load up an old save, or start a new one. Sazza's waiting. So is the frog.
