There have been dozens of Stardew Valley-inspired indie games over the years, to varying degrees of success, and Emberville is the next one showing some serious promise. And while it looks incredibly solid mechanically, it also has an absolutely stacked voice cast.

Announced via X in a charming 56-second long video, here's the full cast list:

Developed by Cygnus Cross, this cast announcement came just a day after the Steam early access release date for Emberville was announced: Tuesday, Oct. 27 2026.

"Awaken with no memories inside the Vitromotus, a vast underground world created as a magical dungeon where death no longer lasts," reads the Emberville Steam page. "Explore its depths, battle dangerous creatures, rescue survivors, and rebuild the ruined town of Emberville while uncovering the truth behind this prison."

Content creator Ben "CohhCarnage" Cassell is one of the co-founders at Cygnus Cross, and in a separate X post, he explained that the team have "been striving to make Emberville as immersive as possible," and that the stacked voice cast is an example of how they're doing just that.

With a vast array of voiced characters, that's one area where Emberville will, on paper, improve upon Stardew Valley. Another is in its combat mechanics, because it's offering "action-focused combat that rewards positioning, timing, and knowledge," with "unique weapon-bound combos" and "skills from a big range of combat classes," according to the detailed Steam description.

Finally, the team wants you to rest assured that the early access version will be worth it: "Emberville's early access phase will present a fully playable experience with a substantial amount of content where we will post meaningful content updates throughout early access." This includes gameplay from early to mid-game, base building, gathering, crafting, farming, cooking, melee/magic/ranged combat, equipment, skills, and more.
