We’ve known for ages that the Steam Machine has a similar game compatibility rating system to the Steam Deck, wherein Valve tests games and slaps them with a Verified, Playable, or Unsupported sticker depending on how much they play technical ball. For the first fortnight and change of the Machine’s release, though, the results of these tests haven’t been visible – alongside the Deck verification info – on those games’ Steam store pages.

Abivax's latest funding round allows the biotech to move toward a U.S. launch of its bowel disease drug without backing from Big Pharma, CEO Marc de Garidel told CNBC after months of intense takeover speculation.

"Thanks to the cash we raised… We are in a position to have cash until the end of 2029, and … build up the right infrastructure to launch in the U.S.," de Garidel told CNBC's "Squawk Box Europe" on Friday.

EasyJet agrees to surprise takeover bid as rival US firm swoops in

No-frills airline EasyJet says it has agreed in principle to a £5.7bn takeover proposal from US firm Apollo Global Management - just days after accepting an offer from a rival suitor.

The carrier said Apollo's offer delivered "a superior outcome" to investors than the previous bid from US investment firm Castlelake that EasyJet had also agreed to in principle at the weekend.

EasyJet is one of Europe's largest airlines. It employs more than 19,000 people, and flies around 1,200 routes across 35 European countries.

Former Tory minister Ann Widdecombe dies at 78

Former Conservative minister turned Reform UK spokeswoman Ann Widdecombe has died aged 78.

Her political career spanned decades, serving as MP for Maidstone in Kent for 23 years, before going on to join Reform UK.

She worked as a Home Office and employment minister in Sir John Major's government between 1994 to 1997.

After leaving Parliament she embarked on a showbiz career, appearing on Strictly Come Dancing in 2010 and Celebrity Big Brother in 2018.
